A Little bit about me

Born in the Twin Cities, located in the great midwest state of Minnesota, I was raised by loving parents who are both designers as well. They successfully ran their own small agency for forty plus years. Due to this, art and design has always been a part of my life and holds a deeper meaning to me than just work.

One of my biggest passions in life, that I still take part in, is soccer. I've played my whole life and played all the way up through college at a high level. Now I'm simply trying to relive the glory days via the men's league. Nonetheless, I still love it just as much.

After high school, I went to a small college in Wisconsin (UW-Stout) that had a rapidly growing art and design program. After college, I landed my first design job at General Mills. The job consisted of design and animation, which was an amazing experience straight out of school. After General Mills, I moved over to Periscope (now called Betty), which is an agency located in Minneapolis. This was my first taste of big agency life. It was a blast having so many amazing tools available whenever needed. After Periscope I was contacted by Adjective & Co. I uprooted my life, grabbed my dog and moved down to Jacksonville, Florida. Adj. & Co. was a good place to use a lot of skills I hadn't been able to hone yet in my career. Simply due to the size of Adj. & Co. I wore multiple hats, which enabled me to do more than just the job I was hired to do. I have had many opportunities here in Florida and have learned so much along the way. My next adventure took me to the corporate side of design and marketing: Pet Paradise. I’m a dog-lover and getting to work for a company that makes happy dogs happier every day is very rewarding. I'm excited for what the future holds and I'm always looking to learn more.
